Welcome to ParentingPreemies.com! Hi and welcome to parentingpreemies.com. You have arrived at a great place, please make yourself at home. Here you will find preemie information, insight, support and care. Most of all you will find people who finally UNDERSTAND your special, lifetime journey!
We know what it is like to birth a baby and it be whisked away without introductions. We understand the scariest feeling in the world: going to the NICU to see your baby for the first time (did you even know the NICU existed until your preemie was born?!). We've been through the vigorous months of "scrubbing up" every day to spend time with a little one we can barely touch let alone hold. We have been through the heart-wrenching ups and downs of the NICU and Intermediate Care Nurseries. Did you bring home your preemie attached to monitors, etc.? We completely understand the feeling of leaving the hospital empty-handed while other mothers snuggle their newborns in their arms. We've been there and are here to encourage AND lend you a listening, understanding ear. Why not register and see what we're all about, it's FREE!
